Society Officers meet Niigata City Mayor

Wednesday, March 23, 2022, Officers of the Niigata Philippine Society made a courtesy call on Mayor Yaichi Nakahara of Niigata City. The Officers introduced themselves and exchanged pleasantries with the Mayor. Uniquely, the Officers of this Society are mostly Filipinos residing in Niigata Prefecture. The founding President of the Society is Mr. Stevenson Alloso, the Vice President is Ms. Julia Abe, the Head of Secretariat is Ms. Monica Ueno, and the Treasurer is Mr. Junichi Ueno. The Society looks forward to many people-to-people cultural exchanges between the residents of Niigata.

2022年3月23日（水）、新潟フィリピン協会の役員が新潟市の中原八一市長を表敬訪問しました。 役員は自己紹介をし、市長と歓喜を交わしました。 ユニークなことに、この協会の役員は主に新潟県に在住フィリピン人です。 設立会長はスティーブンソン・アロソ氏、副会長は阿部・ユリア氏、事務局長は上野モニカ氏、会計は上野純一氏です。 協会は、新潟の住民同士の多くの人と人との文化交流を楽しみにしています。
